Emergency connection could not be used since it also had become entangled. Dutch CG were advised and the CG tug Waker was tasked. The 135 meter long tow, slightly over 14mt. wide hull quickly drifted close to shallows & banks off the island caused by the WSW-ly storm. Tug M/V Hunter from partners Rederij Noordgat immediately departed the port of West Terschelling with the fast rescue craft M/V Tempest quickly took action. Walker arrived on site first and a salvage contract agreed. Then M/V Tempest able to come close enough & put personnel on board of the drifting vessel.
